Who we are
maxIPise is an intellectual property (IP) consultancy headed by Dr Rehan Ahmed, a European Patent Attorney with vast international experience in the IP field. He majored in Chemistry with a BSc (University of Manchester Institute for Science and Technology, UK) and a PhD (University of St. Andrews, UK). He also has a law degree in IP Management (Queen Mary University of London, UK) and a certificate in IP (Chartered Institute of Patent Attorneys). During his career he has headed up the Chemistry and Life Sciences team in one of the largest IP law firms in Munich and also lead the IP function of a business unit within a global specialty chemicals company in Amsterdam. Rehan has experience across diverse technical fields and has worked with (and against) single persons, SMEs and the largest multinational companies in the world. His commercial, hands-on approach ensures creative outcomes to your business needs with regards to IP.
Aside from work, his two kids keep him (very) busy, his love of DIY (you name it he will try and fix it), gardening (the creative canvas of nature is all inspiring) and car maintenance (damn those old timers are a labour of love) also help keep him out of trouble.
